It comes from indigenous traditions in South America, where it has been burned for centuries in ceremonies to clear the aura, release negative influences and protect the energy of people and places.

How to use Palo Santo sticks:
Light the tip of the Palo Santo stick and let it burn for about 20-30 seconds.
Gently blow out the flame, allowing the stick to smoulder and release fragrant smoke.
Move slowly around your space, or waft the smoke around your body, crystals or altar with a clear intention (for example: cleansing, grounding, protection).
When you’re finished, rest the stick in a fireproof dish and let it go out naturally.
Re-light as needed, each Palo Santo stick can be used many times.
Always burn Palo Santo in a well ventilated space and never leave it unattended.
